STAFF PROFILE

Amy is a life-long explorer with a passion for intercultural exchange. She holds a B.A. in International Affairs & Spanish from the University of New Hampshire and an M.A. in International Education from The School for International Training. She spent over three years with the Peace Corps in Bolivia, where she served as both a volunteer and a project specialist. Amy also spent a year coordinating intercultural exchange programs for BorderLinks; a bi-national, non-profit organization on the Arizona-Mexico border that advocates for human rights and social justice. Most recently, she served as Fellowship Coordinator for The Advocacy Project, a DC-based non-profit that works with community-based advocacy groups all over the world. Amy has extensive experience in institutional relations management, program design, monitoring & evaluation, as well as sustainable international development & experiential education. In August 2008, Amy joined the SFS team to combine her passion for environmental and social justice with intercultural exchange.
