STAFF PROFILE

Jack Waggett serves as interim President with additional responsibilites for overseeing the search for a permanent SFS president.

A committed and active SFS trustee for more than a decade, Waggett most recently served as Vice Chairman of the SFS Board of Trustees. He has extensive experience in undergraduate admissions, financial aid, institutional research, and curricular planning in higher education. Waggett retired in 1999 as an academic dean at Trinity College and remains interested in curricular design, faculty research, and long-range institutional planning. Waggett has also held administrative positions at the University of Michigan.

A sought-after community leader, Waggett is President of the Board of Directors for Charter Oak Cultural Center in Hartford. He has served in numerous non-profit capacities, including a stint as an officer (Secretariat) for the "Global Partnership for the International University of Iraq" (GP-IUI). A life-long educator, practiced global citizen and parent of two world travelers, Waggett relishes this opportunity to provide transitional leadership to SFS.
