Volunteer Opportunities
We have some new volunteer opportunities for alumni. Volunteering your time, either at headquarters in Salem or remotely, is a great way to support the SFS mission while getting some valuable professional experience. Please email Marta Brill, Alumni and Parent Relations Coordinator, if you are interested in any of these opportunities or click here to take the volunteer survey.

Alumni Assistant
Objectives: To help with the day to day function of Alumni and Parent Relations Department.
Duties and Responsibilities: General office duties including the coordination of mailings and data entry. 
Qualifications and Requirements: Familiarity with MS Word and Excel. Experience with Raiser's Edge a plus.
Supervisor: Alumni and Development Coordinator
Time Commitment: -10 Hours a week, Monday through Friday anytime between 9am and 5pm.

Development Assistant
Objectives: To help the Development Department identify potential donors and cultivate existing relationships with donors.
Duties and Responsibilities: Researching major donor prospects. Special event planning and coordination. Grants research and editing. Coordination and implementation of communications with donors.
Qualifications and Requirements: Experience or interest in development work. Must be familiar with MS Word and Excel.  Experience with Raiser's Edge preferred.
Supervisor: Development Director
Time Commitment: 10 hours a week, Monday through Friday anytime between 9am and 5pm. Note: Some of this work can be done remotely.
