The Queensland Minister for Sustainability issued a press release thanking the students of The School for Field Studies, Center for Rainforest Studies, for their efforts in helping to clear 40 Mile Scrub National Park from the invasive and destructive latana vines.

The Australian Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which includes the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS), is a department of the Queensland Government.
