SFS "Alumni Bonus Bucks" is designed to help locate qualified candidates for open positions at the School's five centers and our headquarters in Salem, Massachusetts. SFS alumni who refer an external applicant who is ultimately hired for a designated open position will receive a cash award of $100.

Who is eligible for a bonus?
All SFS Alumni!

Who is an eligible applicant?
Applicants are eligible unless they:
• have an active application on file with SFS
• already work for SFS
• or have worked at SFS within the past year. This includes regular, student and casual employees, as well as employees working at the School on temporary or contract bases and interns.

What is a designated open position?
In general, all full time, permanent, and professional level and internship positions that have been posted on our website are eligible.

What should I tell the candidate?
SFS alumni who are referring external candidates should advise the applicant  to:
• visit the SFS website at www.fieldstudies.org and apply on line at jobs@fieldstudies.org
• supply a cover letter stating which position/internship he or she is applying for and for which location
• supply a current resume
• provide the name of the SFS alumni who referred him or her

How do I receive the cash award?
The Human Resources Generalist will pay a cash award of $100 if the person being referred is hired for a designated open position. The cash reward will be paid after 30 days of the first day of new employee's or intern's hire date.

What else?
For further questions about the SFS "Alumni Bonus Bucks" Program, please contact Eva Augusto at eaugusto@fieldstudies.org. SFS reserves the right to determine whether or not referred applicants are qualified for positions covered by the program. SFS may modify or discontinue this program at any time. Should the program be discontinued, any in-process referrals will be handled on an individual basis.
