 | Designing Your Emergency Response Plan and Protocols (1 day)
This day will be spent looking at models for Emergency Response Plans, Emergency Action Plans, Crisis Management Plans, etc and working through each component. We will present a template for participants to customize a plan for their institution. A table top exercise including a media lab will enable participants to test their plan. This program will also present specific protocols for responding to field specific emergencies including sexual assaults, suicidal behavior, eating disorders, medical emergencies, etc. Curriculum to include: - Definitions

- Legal and insurance considerations
- Organizing your team
- Outside resources
- The Family Plan
- The Media Plan
Participants will come away with an Emergency Response Plan, including event specific protocols tailored to their programs' structure, locale and philosophy. For more info please contact:
