"Sustainability Across South America"

Hear SFS alumnus Rob Holmes (Kenya Fall '90) of Green Living Project recount his adventures documenting sustainability projects across South America and view his new multi-media presentation at Eastern Mountain Sports in Soho, New York on November 19 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.

This inspiring event is a must-see for any adventure traveler, South America enthusiast, or sustainability advocate. The showcase features eight sustainability projects across tropical rainforests, mountains, and river and ocean regions of Brazil, Peru, and Ecuador. The Green Living Project documentary team has captured projects ranging from wildlife conservation and community education to renewable energy and "voluntourism." Learn about sustainable living, responsible travel, and get directly involved with each of these exciting projects. Also included is a special premier of sustainable initiatives across Maine as well as a discussion surrounding their connection to global projects.

The School for Field Studies is co-sponsoring this special event and will host a table for alumni and friends to connect -pick up your free "Green is Good" resuable SFS totebag. Attendees will be offered free food and drink, door prizes and a popular gear raffle to win great products from National Geographic Adventure, Timberland, Gregory Packs, Keen Footwear, Clif Bar, and more.
